Get Fit Do It Right is my personal motto and it best describes my way of life. Yet it sure
does not represent "the old me". "The old me" was a person who could not believe there
was a future. The old me was overweight by 160 pounds who spent 70% of the day on a
couch, looking for my next bag of blame...(chips, candy, etc.), quick fix diets and other
various other methods of weight loss all had their effects, unfortunately none lasted and
sometimes there were very negative side affects. The bottom line, I was still overweight
and still very unhappy.

I believe everyone is presented with an opportunity in their life to make a change that can
catapult them into their perceived "ultimate state of being". For me it was a picture from my
40th birthday. It was then that the old me said "What's going on here?" My re-entry into the
world of the living began rather modestly. I went to the gym alone to kill time and drop
pounds, and for me cardio was the exercise of choice.

Before long I was making progress, I was losing weight and my self esteem grew ten fold.
With this new found strength, I knew that the first thing that I had to change was what I
chose to put into my body. Like I said, my bag of blame had to be addressed. Making
healthy food choices was an important part of my new lifestyle combined with cardio
workouts and strength training. As my body changed and my confidence grew, it became
clear to me that my life's experiences were all for a worthy cause: Helping others through
the power of physical fitness.

Today ten years later, I am in the best physical shape of my life and have the opportunity to
share my passion for healthy living, and exercise with others. In my studio there are “no
judgments”. Each clients work at their own pace and my workouts are tough but enjoyable.

No two workouts at Get Fit are the same, and we spend a lot of time on strengthening the
“core”.

The only thing that I ask my personal clients and Fitness Campers is that each person be
committed to giving their very best during their hour workout.
